The cinematography for the first half of the movie, and score were chef kiss. Great performances by Boyega, Parris, and Foxx. The socioeconomic commentary on lower income minority driven neighborhoods (specifically black) was fantastic. The feeling that the odds are always stacked against people in those environments is well represented both in the plot and overall message.
