Anora was better than expected, as romantic movies are not usually my forte. I was concerned about the plot initially, with the first 30-40 minutes being very close to a pornographic sequence of full nudity and sex scenes back to back to back. However, it provided character development to the two protagonists of this story. It outlined that both the rich guy and the girl, hadn’t really experienced true love, as Anora (or Annie) appeared to only know romance through…

A solid movie, no doubt, flawed by the fact that there was one core issue, being that this whole film centres around the underdeveloped and decently unlikeable characters.
The entire concept of “It’s what’s inside” is phenomenal, it’s unique, it’s poetically chaotic and the editing and film style is incredibly well done. It’s the storyline and plot however which is simply to hard to follow, given the lack of character introduction.

The amazing spider-man was a very well done film, with excellent visuals and storytelling. It encapsulates motive and tragedy behind Peter Parker and his past, however, also creates a realistic and hurt villain, who still has humanity. Even the unlikeable characters had changes in beliefs or views, allowing their deaths to have a much more significant emotional impact on the viewer. My only real critique was the high school stereotypes felt a bit exaggerated (ie. bully, quiet kid, cute nerdy girl). But overall an excellent movie, easy to follow with plenty of emotion and well executed character development.
