Grotesque to an acceptable level, most of the film is a set up and pertains to no structure. A lot is set up and paid off routinely, with stellar characterization from Monica Belluci and William Defoe’s parts in the film. All together a very satisfying movie.

Classical Approach modern tropes. Really just refurbishing the franchise for new fans. One is allowed Access and can dive right in. Not bad over all.

Wolverine was undoubtably the most popular character in the Marvel Comic Book Universe, during the nineties, he more than spearheaded the X-Men movie franchise. Probably the best outing for any wolverine fan, though the the rest of the X-Men films may go understated in that effect. Though it's pitfall may not be in it's character devices, the pitfall is in the uncompelling other characters.

X-23 barely speaks any english and it is once again Logan's mission to protect the weaker few. Will he ever be more than a hard nut?

You know, I've seen a bunch of films like this. Totally Hollywood, totally main stream in it's sensibility. Watching it for the second time -- on Netflix -- got me thinking about it's distributor. Time Warner Entertainment was also my internet provider while living in Los Angeles in 2007-2008.

Filmed entertainment, as it were, is really the only way to keep your life simple. Imagine any other film, with no happy endings, a deeper, darker rhetoric, perhaps, even a distinction…
