Nosferatu 2024
The thing this movie does really well is the cinematic storytelling. The costuming is beautiful and some of the performances are really quite incredible. I think where this movie lack for me was the pacing. It felt very slow. And while being slow isn’t always a bad thing for this movie, the story isn’t compelling enough to warrant how slow it felt. Overall I think it was a good movie just was maybe slightly overhyped for me.

The Fall Guy 2024
This movie was so refreshing. I think there is a level of comedy we knew they were going to lean into but MAN it delivered. It was so charming. I really feel like the writing was well done. I would say that this movie is in the category of a well written entertaining film.
Gosling and Blunt have wonderful on screen chemistry that was just so fun to watch for the entirety of the 127 min runtime. Overall I think this movie gets an applause!

Past Lives 2023
I thought that this movie was sort of an Everyman story. The film is filled with beautiful imagery and writing. The cinematography was almost dreamlike in its delivery. I thought that it was going to be one thing going in and it turned out to be something different. I was pleasantly surprised. I can see why it has gotten the Nomination and I would say it is worthy of that.
