  The acting is so silly and funny sometimes it pulls me out of the atmosphere but other then that it's a pretty solid movie there's definitely a reason why it's a classic

  This movie fucked me up bad but it think it’s cuz it helped me deal with some personal trauma with my dad I absolutely never had to go to foster care and the things I delt with were completely different from what Astrid had to go through but I had to struggle with having a severely mentally I’ll parent and the feeling of searching for understanding and having to come the conclusion that your parent is heavily Flawed but they still may love you and it’s not super black and white
