I tend to enjoy and gravitate towards Japanese coming of age films so much more than anything else, mainly because of the nostalgic factors that are so closely related to what i had growing up back home in Vietnam. This film encapsulates that perfectly, but now with a modern twist/dream of mine of wanting to be in a band with my friends. It's awkward, it's funny, it's cute, it's sweet. It tugged at my heart in such a warm and gentle way, also teared up at the end
