Top Gun: Maverick 2022
To be fair, I had no expectations going into this. I just did not know what it was going to be like. And it was a very pleasant surprise in that regard. Did not watch the original recently but still felt like it was a good sequal and a solid standalone film aswell. Cast did a great job! And it happens rarely that I shake that much out of tension as I did building up to and during the climax of this one. It really was good.

A very bold sequel but the perfect continuation for the original Kingsman, enjoyed it almost as much as the original, just that slight bit less because of some character choices.

Red Notice 2021
Two hours of pure fun with 3 A-list actors in sometimes decent sometimes not so decent action scenes. Dialogue was quite nice, the funny moments were quite nice, nothing special but just enjoyable. All the time jumps felt a little bit weird and rushed however.

I have a very soft spot for these explicit, comical action movies that are still very well made. The story was executed quite nicely, apart from a few rough spots. Quite disappointed by a certain character's demise, but apart from that I very much like this British piece of art.
