The Terminator 1984
Rewatch at the drive-in was an amazing experience.
Spent most of the time looking at it from the tale of two extremely mentally ill folks running amok in LA and somehow still plays as a tight, dark suspenseful, horror. 😅

It’s a shame this doesn’t get mentioned in the same conversations as top 80s slashers.
The gore is awesome, the acting is unhinged, and the film makers are trying something with interstitial cuts from old black and white films.
Is it ground breaking? Nah, but it is fun and moves from a to b really quick.
