I loved this but it is “gnarly as fuck,” to quote another reviewer. All I have to say is it is the complete opposite of some of the more retrained and subdued lesbian period dramas such as Ammonite or Portrait. So good though! Had fun telling people about the movie I’d watched the night before and I am sure they appreciated the details I provided as well!
