Great and meaningful Visuals, wicked soundtrack, but overall the movie has a small issue with pacing. Some scenes still linger in my mind as I am writing this, the part where Mandy is given LSD and the final drive scene where Red smiles into the camera covered in blood are some that come to mind. Might want to do a Halloween costume as Red this year, who knows.
Nic Cage had a great performance in this movie.

Great movie, I can see why this is people's comfort movie.
Watching Speed Racer is like a dropping LSD before taking a bath in red, yellow, and blue paint while strobe lights flash softly. The whole movie is stylized to be in this mid-century futuristic fever dream and I'm all for it. I understand that this is a kid's movie however and scenes with Chim-Chim and Spritle are supposed to help keep the kids entertained.
