The Last Voyage of the Demeter 2023
10/10 premise but 2/10 execution. This should have been a slam dunk you just have to establish the location, establish the crew and make it nasty. The movie has this weird camera focus that looks terrible, the nautical horror genre deserves so much better.

Devoid of humour, style and any awareness or commentary on Hollywood. The behind the scenes features would have more substance. The characters are detestable at every given opportunity, any ability to satirize the subject matter isn't just missed but entirely rejected. It's almost admirable to invoke such a strong negative reaction.
