This film was genuinely enjoyable, which is why it surprises me that it's received so much flack from film critics. There's nothing particularly remarkable about it, however it's an interesting take on a neo-nior interpretation of a robbery/kidnapping - mostly because it struck me as being so real. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood 2019
This is one of those films that you watch and remember that life is actually wonderful. The role of Fred Rogers is actually made for Hanks, his acting has you clinging onto every word and the beauty of what he says melts your heart. While the other characters (who are played by brilliant actors) provide you with a gritty reality, Rogers is there to clean it up.
