WATCH!!!!! I don’t rly have complaints. Really well shot, it’s beautiful… almost as beautiful as Andrew Scott… he’s a queer icon again in the role. Every few episodes some crazy shit happens and you get a tense 45 minutes of him trying to cover it up. There’s a scene on a boat, it’s so cool. I don’t LOVE the end but it’s really cool either way.

This movie was amazing. It has a great message and a beautiful story. All the actors were great except Mark Ruffalo who got nominated for an Oscar.
I only have one major complaint. Why were the sex scenes so long. I get they all had a very important point in the message and in developing Bella, but they could have accomplished this all in way less time. I didn’t need 20 minutes of weird fucking.

Paul Dano’s entire role in this movie is “does he know” and it’s amazing.
This film is peak Spielberg throughout. It’s emotional and powerful. It’s beauty is highlighted most in the relationship between Sammy’s parents. We see how he hurts them and they in return hurt him.
