  I watched parts of this a few years ago with my parents (big oof) but didn't finish it for obvious reasons.

  One of the most straightforward films by David Lynch, that never fails to keep his key symbolism; the whole set of elements that makes a Lynch film is here, from what I can gather.

  His ability to turn the spotlight into the beauty of everyday life and routine to contrast the direct, plain, and un-glorified violence is a refreshing…
