  Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- 2025

  The film is split into two parts: one during the war and one 5-6 years afterwards. The first half was great! I’m a sucker for alternate timeline UC Gundam. The art style was reminiscent of the og series and I loved the rehashed tunes. I was also worried about the new sledding for the mechs but I was on board as soon as they rolled em out. 

  The 2nd half has a different style and is more akin to modern anime…

  I watched this because the podcast I listen to (The Dogg Zone 9000) has an episode where they cover it. So I was pretty disappointed how bland it was. Even with an entire truckasaurus it was boring. Looking forward to the podcast though!

  Edit: the podcast did a good job explaining how gat shit wild a lot of things in the movie were, but like the films execution of said things was flat af. Still don’t recommend. But recommend listening to the podcast instead (episode 84).
