A film that I have struggled with, considering its multi layer sotryline. Slow paced and beautifully shot, something that reminds me somewhat of Tarkovky's work. Found it interesting that Takatkusi's arc involved the climax of Oto's story, well at least that was my interpretation of it. Even though it could be argued that the protagonist of Oto's story was actually her self and was a way for her to comment on her partner's lack or emotion.
