  A solid premise with a truly mysterious set up, but it doesn't quite manage to keep the tension up. The panic and despair the characters must be feeling in these situations doesn't make the transfer to the audience.
  Definitely remains enjoyable and worth a watch if you're in the mood.

  A strange tale, with an inversion of typical sexually predatory dynamics. Tough to follow in parts but the general gist is clear in the initial stages. Both sympathy and lack thereof between predator and prey become clear themes, and a dysphoric sense of the self results directly from this. On the whole, the work benefits from a refusal to explain itself more than it loses but this can definitely alienate some audiences.

  An interesting take on what happens when a group of neighbours are forced to come together to deal with a crisis as captured by a reporter riding along with a fire crew for the night.
  An unnecessary twist in the final minutes is a bit of a non-sequitur, not quite suited to the specifics of the situation, but doesn't overly mar the excellent storytelling up to that point.
