    Very well-made, a superb depiction of the gruelling process of reporting with Pakula’s intense direction bringing life to the drier parts of the narrative (which is a good thing, as it keeps the focus on the investigation rather than inserting a bunch of manufactured drama). Perhaps it made sense to end it where it did when Watergate was so fresh in everyone’s minds, but I found it not to feel like it should have been at least half an hour longer and not relegated so much to ending headlines.

Such an incredible depiction of loneliness and the difference that a fleeting connection can make mixed with, uhh, some very cringe racist stuff!
