The Man Who Would Be King 1975
Any film starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine as a rag-tag duo conning their way through unexplored territory filled with larger-than-life characters, egghead tyrants, and foreign wonders - not to mention a rifleman sidekick called Billy Fish - is bound to be a belter.
It’s no surprise, then, that this film is a belter.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World 2003
Still the best film of all time. The first battle sequence is masterful (if you’ll pardon the pun). The eeriness of it - with the only sounds being the ones you’d actually hear - is striking.
