Only released in NZ in late-December, it was already really hard to find a screening of this.
Writing a short breakdown wouldn't do it justice. It's great. Interesting, unconventionally humerous, and beautifully shot (apparently shot on vintage Russian lenses). It's worth watching and reflecting on.
Just don't watch it with your parents.
Trashy but watchable action flick, saved by being bizarrely humourous in a few moments. Definitely went on too long. Unfortunately some of the least passable 'British' accents I've ever heard.
I'd recently watched Gladiator in preparation for this, so it was fresh in my mind, and honestly this was disappointing as a sequel.
