The only Fincher film I hadn't seen until now. It's tense, shot so you always know what's going on and where the characters are, while trying to work out one problem after another.

Gremlins 1984
I'd forgotten how funny and gross this film was. There were loads similar style "horror" films released around the same time, mostly coming off tacky, Gremlins just had the right balance. It's hilarious. I love the practical effects and puppets the whole film looks great.
