Didn’t make me laugh once, not because it wasn’t funny, but because it had me constantly on the verge of tears, and the moments of humour only served to somewhat alleviate the deep sadness that permeates the whole film. I was expecting a silly, cheaply made money-grab of a sequel, and instead was punched in the gut by a shockingly well-made and heartbreakingly powerful ending to the series.
