  “March 14! Wait, that’s not right. It should say the day that Krabs fries!”

  This is how you make a damn SpongeBob movie Netflix! A great premise for all these characters and the animation holds up so well so many years later. Spongebob has its good episodes here and there post the release of this movie and I even like the second movie, but this is the true ending to SpongeBob SquarePants as far as I’m concerned

  I don’t know if my expectations were too high or I was expecting a different kind of movie, but this did not land with me at all. The tone was all over the place, I couldn’t tell if it wanted to be a bleak drama or a goofy dark comedy. Other than Robert Pattinson, I thought a lot of the performances were very weak, Mark Ruffalo especially being so awkwardly over the top. Takes a while for the plot to get going and once it does, it’s aggressively preachy and pretentious. I’m definitely in the minority, but this was super disappointing

  Was digging this movie simply based off of Stallones charm and his chemistry with the kid, but the dialogue is pretty rough and no emotional moments are earned. Had some good concepts, but they were kinda wasted cause the writing never brings it home
