It really blows one's mind to imagine that 65 million years ago, the meteor that hit Earth spared enough small critters that they eventually evolved into primates, that some of them in Africa evolved into humans, some of whom migrated across the planet, invented civilisation and technology. All of which came together to create this bullshit.

My girlfriend told me this is the movie that most accurately represents my brand. Truth be told, I see her point. There are days where I feel most like Donnie, yet despite having a full-time job, the experience of working from home during a pandemic isn't too far removed from spending much of my time doing the same thing over and over, whether working or not, letting all responsibilities pile up on voice mail/email for a while as I contemplate how long I can put things off.
I can only hope it doesn't resonate like this forever.

I like Tarantino films way more than I like Tarantino as a person (because I do not like him). I was 13 when I first saw it in theatres. It was my first Tarantino film, and I remember enjoying it. Watching it again, I only enjoyed it more for the performances.
