  The “one take” format is a double edged sword. On the one hand it is a unique and true to life artistic interpretation. On the other, it disrupts the normal pacing of a movie experience and creates a “dragging” sensation. The depiction of WW1 Europe was stunning, I just wanted to see more of it.
