Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie 1995
rewatching a childhood gem tonight in honour of my Green/White/Red/Black Ranger. it seems like yesterday that I was in front of a tiny TV in my front room watching Dino Thunder and being in total awe of this kickass teacher with my name and a cool Ranger suit and A SOUL PATCH and my older brother sidles into the room and remarks "you're a fan of Tommy? here, watch this" and hands me a VHS for this film.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
One of the only films that I'd reckon the latter half would've benefitted from some more character development - after Xavier's death, the relationship between Laura and Logan seemed undoubtedly touching and human but realistically strained. Another twenty or so minutes could easily have made the two characters that little bit more natural and fluent.
Other than that, I shamelessly cried at this film. Jackman and Stewart in their prime (weird considering that this is their last chapter). Looking forward…
