Why directors have tried to take the plot of a classic zombie movie and turn it into deeper social commentary is beyond me.
Not enough zombie slaying to be engaging, not enough really funny parts to keep me into it. Breaking the fourth wall felt weird and out of place.
This one is a stinker through and through. Why can’t we just have a good ole zombie smash anymore?
Yeah they got some good clips of Rudy being a perv and some other debutant types being uncomfortable.
Other than that though there’s a reason you didn’t hear everyone quoting Borat 2 the same way they did Borat. This movie stunk out loud.

A wonderfully insightful and delightfully surprising dive into haves and have-nots in South Korea. Starts a touch slow and pedestrian but sucks you in and takes a number of sinister twists before an incredible crescendo that makes jaws drop. Deeply layered plot, complex characters and touches of comedy in the right places make this one of, if not the best movies I watched in 2019. Bong deserves all the praise and awards given.
In short—
