Anora 2024
What blast man. Holy shit!
Been reading a few reviews of this one and from what I picked up, I think focusing on Anora wouldn’t do the film its justice on what it’s preaching.
The way I see it we aren’t supposed to see character development, sex workers aren’t always seen as humans. Casting Anora to the side was an impeccable touch portraying what women could experience mentally and physically.
The ending was a punch to the throat I’ll tell you that for free.
Performances were impressive.
Threw me around like the cyclone this one did loved it!

A contemporary passion project that I managed to understand for once.
Introverts and extroverts clashing, modern day people vs vintage, polarisation. So many serious topics discussed but the comedy is so well built in.
Great cast great dialogue. Great cinematography.
Well done to my favourite actor Eisenburg.
