Henry Fonda being dressed in all white, unravelling Cobb until convincing him otherwise and then dressing him back into his black suit is perfect symbolism. A man beset in his ways, vulnerable and opened up but eventually clad back up and hidden again by simply just another man who only in this instance is a juxtaposition: an angel playing the devils advocate. Reminds me of John Grishams ‘A Time to Kill’. Perfect.

The Substance 2024
The pursuit of other people’s ideas of absolute beauty only ever ends one way, disgustingly brilliant.
