  this film was made for indie midwestern emo film bros. it dragged on far too long and ruined its potential to actually grasp its audience, there was minimal horror; so i wouldn’t say it could even be considered in the category, even if it’s deemed “modern” horror. there was nothing scary at all.

  the actors were phenomenal, anna cobb is a great actress which was the only thing pulling me through this movie. but overall, it was mundane, a glorified…

  not much bad to say. i loved the cinematography, the pacing was way better in the movie than the book where it is sporadic. the movie stayed true to the book for the most part. tom holland and ciara bravo are excellent actors, played their parts extremely well. left me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. its a unique film, would absolutely watch again.
