Delirium: Photo of Gioia 1987
Liked this more than I thought I would! The fever dream quality of the murders make it worth checking out. Otherwise it's a pretty typical plot line for the genre. Had the expected amount of sleaze for a film following characters who work for an adult magazine. Casting was pretty good and I recognized a lot of faces from other movies I'd seen. Predicted the ending early on but it didn't ruin my enjoyment at all.

Opus 2025
Was Opus the most original or thorough premise? No. But it sure was fun to watch. The part in the opening sequence with everyone singing along had me hooked onto the musician gimmick. The songs toed the line between "silly" and "maybe I could actually vibe to this" but the way they were presented lowkey made me think I loved them. Overlay shady security footage or bizarre dance moves and it definitely elevates the songs effect.

The Monkey 2025
Pros: Loved the fact that they committed to every death being so over the top freaky. Like cartoon style deaths with flesh and blood flying everywhere. Super silly and made me laugh so points for that! The visuals in the dream sequences were also perfect. Can't lie, my favorite part of the whole movie was the brief shot of the monkey head leaning down between the stripper legs. The design of the monkey itself was also amazing. Had me dancing…
