The Farewell 2019
A poignant reminder of the warmth and love only a family can give you.
A movie that perfectly captures the feeling of loving your family even when you feel like an outsider to it, its at times heartbreaking to watch, as you’re introduced to a family having to deal with something unavoidable and wrestling with the weight of their own decisions.
Beautifully directed by Lulu Wang, you really feel the importance of every mundane moment & silent pause. Just saying, you’re gonna want to call you’re grandmother after watching.
