Really great vampire movie that feels a bit thematically mixed.
There is a very clear metaphor for Ellen and Orlok’s relationship which I think is a really good take on the Dracula/Mina relationship, but the climax of the movie feels like it kinda muddles it. If you separate the allegory from the plot, it’s okay I guess, but I feel like that’s not something you should have to do?

It’s a really good comedy mystery movie, although I think some of the murder mystery plot falls apart/feels like there’s some gaps or big jumps in logic. But god I love all the jokes and gags so much it doesn’t really matter. Bad Boys: Ride or Die 2024
It’s a bummer they already used “Bad Boys For Life” for the previous movie because this could have absolutely been called “Bad Boys 4 Life”.
Enjoyed this quite a bit. It’s not an instant classic like Bad Boys II but what is you know? The overall style of the movie felt a lot cooler than the last one, with stuff like the view of the afterlife and the panic attacks being particular highlights.
