  I always go into independent scottish films with a great deal of goodwill. but god this was so shite. trying very hard to be iconic and smart and youthful and just coming across as reductive and amateurish. all the women were mums, or sex objects, or assistants, and killjoys blocking all the men's fun. speaking of which, all the dudes were desperately awful and yet the main one, all his dreams come true, he is constantly on the receiving end…
