  Wow. Not just a great kaiju film but a genuinely spectacular movie. It feels like my life has led to me watching this, as if it were important to my destiny to finally watch this. This finale gave me chills in multiple occasions.

  The spiritual elements are ramped up which makes for a unique kaiju experience. Characterizing Gamera as a heavenly guardian doubted by the common populace puts this in a league of it's own. The character of Iris plays…
