  Where the Crawdads Sing 2022

  This adaptation, where the stars have three names, was like Nell, but on the ocean. And with less naked Jodi Foster.

  When I tell you this movie was bad, I mean "oops grandma, I let the cows out to pasture, and they all got run over by a semi truck" bad.

  Daisy Edgar-Jones as Kya Clark, is as uncharismatic as can be, and Taylor John Smith as Tate Walker (Romance Novel Name Generator?) is barely believable.

  ★★★½ Added

  You guys remember Homeword Bound: The Incredible Journey? Yeah, that's what this movie is like.

  Guy of Gysborne from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is in it.

  TBH this closeout of the odd trilogy of masterpieces by Jordan Peele is probably one of my favorite movies of the last five years.

  Really well written, directed, and acted.
