This is not a love story. But a story about how a romantic guy with little experience of proper relationships can trick himself into thinking he's met his soulmate. This is a coming of age movie which has a perfect soundtrack and character development.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
My favourite film. I've watched a lot of good films but none have a perfect balance of humour, hope, sadness, injustice and many more powerful emotions. It had a beautiful meaning, which is to not give up and to have hope for anything in life no matter what it is. It shows a lovely friendship blossom between two wise and grown men, which was a joy to watch unfold. All in all this film is a 10/10 without a shadow of a doubt.
