    Baked in jump scares? Check.

Overuse of camera pans to reveal something scary just over the shoulder? Check.

    Zombie nuns? Check.

Inexplicable use of the literal blood of Jesus Christ as a nonsensical plot device? Check.

The Vatican occupied by an Englishman, a Scotishman but nobody Italian? Check.

Creepy and fun? Extremely. I’ll be watching The Nun 2.

Superhero movies make money and are often pretty risk averse. Still, as popular as Batman is as a character, it’s maybe a little risky to make a 3 hour movie about him.
