doesn't have much of what was appealing about the comic.

the grinch is not even once as evil as the onceler in the entire movie
this movie is lifeless even in comparison to other illumination slop, those are "middle of the road" but you can tell the writers had fun writing scenarios with gru and the minions. their shitty lorax adaptation made me laugh sometimes, this movie made me feel nothing.

Beautiful movie, uniquely blending cel animation with cg backgrounds. Insanely unique shot composition, I've never seen another film that looks like this. Feels truly futuristic despite modern animated films being nothing like its. However.. flimsy plot, and boring characters.
