Film is a wonderful escape from an overrated world. I'm always on the lookout for a movie thats gonna give me an endorphin boost.

The King of Comedy 1982
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Carried my Robert De Niro. As such, everything revolved around his performance. Outside of his deluded character arc, the film slumps, failing to create any tension or suspense. Even when the talk show host is abducted and tied up, there is minimal suspense to be had. The film isn't funny, though it seems to want to be. Instead, it comes off as awkward. All said, the film is a wonderful dip into obsession, and the sad life of Rupert Pupkin, despite the film treading wierd ground of trying to be funny.
