  didnt hate this movie - the premise was certainly original, as well as the execution. but, in the end, it felt like there were too many half-baked concepts that dealt with sensitive subjects in a not so thoughtful way. 

  also, the song listing all the gender-affirming surgeries was a very hard watch.

  rich in its cinematography, score, and performances, this was a great watch and somehow left me with the desire to watch it again, despite its whopping 3.5 hour runtime (maybe with captions this time)
