  Like if you put Don’t Look Now, Lamb, Hereditary, Pet Semetary, The Wicker Man, The Witch, and Enys Men all in a blender you would get this.  And also it isn’t very good and I can’t figure out what Matt Smith is doing here.  Looks good, good score but very sleepy and feels long but is actually short.  Waits till the last few minutes for the good stuff and takes us on a sleepy journey for little payoff and then it’s over.  Bummer.

  Sorcerer 1977

  Took a little while to get its hooks in me but this turned out to be one of the most immersive, nail biting, thrilling movies I’ve ever seen.  Literally had a hard time looking at the screen a few times.  Amazing camera work and special effects and some very harrowing, physical performances especially from Roy Schneider.  The whole thing feels so dirty and oily and sweaty and real!
