  So glad there was no dialog. Made the message way more impactful to me.
  This is one of those "weird kids movies" that might leave a lasting impression on a young generation. It's in a pantheon with stuff like "The last unicorn" or "Fantasia"

  It's just barely scratching that 4th star line. It would have been just 3,5 but Collette and Ruffalo, chewing scenery, made it for me. Needed more Mickey's though.

  For a movie that is excellent in almost every way, I really don't get how those breath and snow vfx got approved. They looked fake back then and they do sure as hell now. It's crazy to me, that they are in the same movie where one guy plays twins and you didn't realize it until the credits started rolling.

  Sidenote: The perfect example for a movie, where you recognize more and more people, as the years go by. Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara, Rashida Jones, Dakota Johnson and the now officially creepy Armie Hammer. They are all way more famous now, then when this got made.

Following
