  After the ending, I cried so hard I could barely speak — because I remembered the popular discourse around the book, where Jagna is constantly mocked, shamed, and villainized. Seeing the same story from her perspective turns it into a psychological horror.
  The visuals are breathtaking and truly make the movie stand out.
  This might be one of the most important Polish movies of all time. I genuinely can’t remember the last time a movie made me feel so much dread and awe at the same time.
