My Neighbor Totoro 1988
Visually stunning and a great story about the imagination of children, but I always prefer the more action-packed side of Miyazaki's work. Also the pacing felt a bit strange and the resolution didn't really tie things up.

Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro 1979
Miyazaki's first film does not disappoint. The plot is pretty basic, but Lupin is so slick, the humor always gets a chuckle, and the action is badass. Must watch in the original Japanese with subtitles.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb 1964
Absurd and hilarious. All of the characters were absolutely loony. I was expecting a somewhat serious movie going in and boy was that wrong. Not sure what to make of the sexual references. Fluids? Essence? 10:1 women:men ratio? Thought the ~90 minute runtime was perfect, definitely worth a watch.
