Decent premise, but dramatic highs and lows for me. Still not sure how they got Hopkins for this. And I have never seen so many studios listed to start a movie.

I know numerous film critics and viewers will disagree, but this is a horrible movie. There is no reason to spend 3 1/2 hours of my life watching somebody eat dinner, bathe, shop, and have mundane (unrealistic) conversations with their son. If I want that kind of slow-paced, introspection, I read a book.
