The World to Come 2020
Film 2 of 4 today.
After seeing The Brutalist I came home and went on a deep dive on Brady and Mona. Followed up by watching this film which I also thought was incredibly well done and beautiful.
So intimate and shot on super 16. All star cast. Same composer as The Brutalist. Had a great day.

Today was a good day. I cried alone at an AMC on a Monday at 2 pm.
What a special film filled with so much heart. Raw, tender, human. Everything I crave in a movie. And made with the same ethos behind the camera. The fact they cast the formerly incarcerated guys who went through the program adds such a layer of authenticity to the film.
