Sorry to Bother You has some unique ideas, but not all of them are well executed. The bizarre world presented in this film raises some interesting questions about the labor force in modern society, but the characters fail to provide an emotional reason to be invested in their story. The main character, played by Lakeith Stanfield, has an adequate arc, but the other characters in the movie only serve to move the plot along. This might not be a problem…
