Bloodbath at the House of Death 1984
1984's Bloodbath at the House of Death, directed by Ray Cameron, is just a 91-minute-long Monty Python horror spoof skit. I picked up references to Alien, the House on Haunted Hill, House of Wax, and a few others that I recognized but could not place as well. It is very exemplary of the 80s B-horror movie, having a shoestring budget and also somehow getting Vincent Price in the movie. He by far gives the best performance, by the way, but is that really a shock?

The Doors 1991
I’m currently reading the book that this movie is kinda based on, and I gotta say all the dramatization and inaccuracy this movie had kinda distracted me. I mean, they embellish a shit ton of Morrison’s life, it’s actually kinda crazy. Like, moving events so that they happen in a different year than when they actually did in real life. Soundtrack was good and Val Kilmer was good as Morrison.

I love how the Riddler is based on actual serial killers and he could conceivably by a real ass serial killer. Love how his…

Coneheads 1993
I think this movie gets a lot of hate, but most of these SNL movies are pretty solid, I feel. It is also surprisingly topical in that ICE is the big bad of this movie. I liked the cast, Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin were good at playing two absolute weirdos, and I definitely would not have liked this movie as much as I did without their performances. I loved all the guest stars in this movie, Chris Farley is…
