I can’t get over the lights!
It felt like a theater play with the most frantic, but well thought out stage design. Everything was on point. For me It’s incredible how the frames and colors and generally the whole aesthetic of the movie says way more about the story, than the actors and their dialogs. The way Sorrentino shows us happiness and grief in such a distinct way is mindblowing, as well as the camera angles but despite this I feel unsatisfied. Maybe there was lack of music, maybe the story went to fast, I don't know. But what annoyed me was the actor who played Fabietto, ofc people would think of Elio because the scheme was so familiar.
